We’ll kick things off by grounding ourselves. You’ll learn the purpose and history of Chinese Medical Qigong and begin practicing foundational movements like Pulling Down the Heavens, Throwing the Ball, and Dropping the Post. These exercises start releasing surface tension and help you center your body and mind. Whether you're brand new or reconnecting with the practice, this week is about arriving fully, gently, and with curiosity.

This week, we’ll check in as a group, review what’s unfolding, and go deeper into the process of releasing. You’ll learn two more powerful tension-relieving exercises—Trembling Horse and Shooting the Ball—plus begin to gently energize your system with The Golden Ball and Yin Yuan (Red + Blue). These movements help you start to recognize what you’ve been unconsciously holding and how to let it go.

Now that you've cleared space, it’s time to build strength in your energy body. This week focuses on Rolling the Ball, a dynamic practice for increasing qi circulation and healing the meridians. You’ll begin to understand how to move your energy intentionally toward restoration, clarity, and deeper vitality.

Your energy is precious, and this week, you’ll learn how to protect it. We’ll work with The Guardians, a powerful practice that helps you create and repair your body’s natural energetic boundary. Think of it as learning to build a force field: protective, but still soft and open. You'll leave this week feeling stronger, safer, and more self-contained.

This is where intuition meets movement. In Week 5, you’ll learn three advanced practices: Bamboo in the Wind, The Kingfisher, and The Pearl Diver. These flowing movements help you tune into subtle cues from your body and energy. You’ll also get a full review of the full sequence, with time to ask questions and share insights from your experience so far.

In our final week, we’ll run the entire sequence together, from beginning to end. You’ll have the chance to ask final questions, refine your movements, and get clear on how to bring this practice into your daily life. The goal is to leave with a tool you can return to anytime you need to ground, recharge, or release what you’re carrying.
